TiE Toronto is proud to launch Open Mic Night - An Entrepreneur Mixer, a monthly event focused on networking and pitching for Toronto’s entrepreneur ecosystem. Set to unfold on the second Wednesday of every month, Open Mic Night (OMN) will provide a valuable platform for founders to connect with peers, meet investors, venture capitalists and industry leaders, amplifying both their networks and business ventures. It will be a night where the veterans and the young guns of the Toronto start-up ecosystem get to catch up, network and get to know each other better in person.
Open Mic Night welcomes a diverse array of participants, including angel investors, venture capitalists, service providers focused on start-ups, mentors, and a thriving community of successful entrepreneurs. This creates a genuine opportunity for you and your business to gain exposure among the right audience.
Membership with TiE Toronto is not a prerequisite for pitching your start-up but preferable. All you need is the passion to deliver a compelling 90-second elevator pitch in front of an audience comprising angel investors, venture capitalists, start-up-focused service providers, mentors, and a robust community of accomplished entrepreneurs.
Each participant, whether an entrepreneur or investor, is granted 90 seconds at the microphone to introduce themselves, pitch their business, or initiate relevant discussion points. In the event of high demand necessitating a limit on speakers, TiE Toronto members will be given priority. Participation in the event will be free for TiE members. A participation fee will be applicable for non-members.
